By accessing or using HomeServe Pro's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Services
HomeServe Pro is a platform that connects customers with independent service professionals for home services including but not limited to cleaning, repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and moving services. We act as an intermediary and do not directly provide the services ourselves.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Booking and Payments
- All service bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Prices displayed are indicative and may vary based on actual service requirements.
- Payment is required as per the booking terms - either advance payment or upon service completion.
- We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, UPI, and net banking.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Free cancellation is available up to 4 hours before the scheduled service time.
- Cancellations within 4 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the service cost.
- No-shows will be charged the full service amount.
- Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
6. Service Quality and Warranty
We strive to maintain high service quality standards:
- All service professionals are verified and background-checked.
- Services come with a satisfaction guarantee period (varies by service type).
- Report any issues within 48 hours of service completion for resolution.
- Warranty on repairs and installations varies by service (typically 30-90 days).
7. User Responsibilities
As a user, you agree to:
- Provide accurate service location and contact information
- Ensure safe access to the service location for professionals
- Be present or have an authorized representative during the service
- Treat service professionals with respect and dignity
- Not engage in any fraudulent activities
- Not misuse the platform or interfere with its operation
8. Limitation of Liability
HomeServe Pro acts as a platform connecting customers with service professionals. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided by independent professionals. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the HomeServe Pro platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in Bangalore, India, and the language shall be English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
